| Do you know about " Phuket Vegetarian Festival" .This is one of the bigest festival in Phuket, attracting visitors to join physical and spiritual purification through vegetarianism. During this time, Chiness community pratice 10 days vegan diet for the purpose of spiritual cleansing and merit-making. One of the most exciting aspects of the festival is the various, ceremonies which are held to invoke the gods. Firewalking, body piercing and other acts of self mortification undertaken by participants acting as mediums of the gods. | |

Patong Carnivals ( patong open Season) on 15 - 20 Dec. 2008This year , we see not so much tourist in Patong. May be because of world economic and Thai Political Problem. This year, Patong Governor have organized this festival by themselves. Overall are the same as last year but not many people joined the Parade and not so interesting. Street path only have food and some souvenir shop. |
