High Season
The best time to visit Phuket is during "High Season" when it is not so humid, November to March. The average temperature is around 24ºC to 32ºC (75ºF to 89ºF).

Green Season
The hottest time is from April through May . The temperatures rang from 80ºF to 95ºF (27ºC to 36ºC). There are frequent short heavy thunder showers, offering welcome relief from the temperature and humidity. June, July and August , the weather is usually fine. The usual pattern is brief but heavy showers, with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures range between 70ºF and 90ºF (20ºC to 33ºC). During September and early October is getting better, still get long intervals of sunshine between the heavy showers.

   Patong Beach will start every new high season with colourful carnival. Patong Carnival usually begin on first of November. The festival invovles mix of beauty contest, colourful parade, firewo rand stage shows. Street path are sit up with lot of food and drink. This year, the Patong Canival will take place on 15 - 20 December 2008.
